The third regular meeting of Kappa Omicron chapter was called to order at 7:26 p.m. by President Jim Farrow in the Colonial Lounge of the Student Union.

The secretary’s report was read and accepted.

Finance committee - Jack Kooyoomjian

We have received $35 for working at a Small School's Basketball Tournament.  A letter of appreciation from Larry Briggs, manager of the tourney, was read.  J. Tuttle moved that a letter be entered into the Historian’s records.  The motion was passed.
There is a $45.61 in the treasury at present with no bills outstanding.

Old business
UN Week - Parker Cleveland
Word has been received from UNESCO that they will go along with the project.  Letters to possible speakers will be sent later this week.
Campus organizations have been invited to a meeting of the committee this Thursday in the Nantucket Room.
Cooperation from Dr. Goldberg of the Centennial Committee looks promising.

Work Camp – Dick Haynes
A work camp will be held this weekend, Friday through Saturday.

Executive Committee -- Jim Farrell
the Executive Committee moves that this chapter except the Northend Work Project as a chapter project as of March 12.  The motion was passed (8-2-0)

Coat Checking -- Haynes
The coat checking held on March 10 was a success.  There is no checking this weekend.

Banquet -- Popple
The Lord Jeffrey is not available on the night of May 12.  Wiggins Tavern and the Student Union will be looked into as possible places.

Amherst Fair
Dick Haynes, Jonathan Tuttle, and Dick Strecker volunteered to join Paul Nowill at the Fair meetings.

The International Club is ask us to sell tickets for their dance.  J. Tuttle moved to accept this as a project.  Motion passed (7 - 1 - 0).

Books for Asia -- Tuttle
move to accept this as a project. Drive would run from April 16 to May 1.  Motion passed (7 - 0 - 2)

Science Fair -- Farrow
Jim Farrell announced that the fair would be held April 7.
